1. Heat exchange process
When the hydraulic oil cooler is working, the high temperature oil in the hydraulic system will flow through the heat exchanger inside the cooler. In this process, the high-temperature oil and the external cold medium (usually cold air or cold water) for efficient heat exchange. Through this heat exchange, the temperature of the oil is reduced to the appropriate operating temperature, thus ensuring the continuous normal operation of the main engine, so that the work can be carried out smoothly.

2. Type of cooler
According to different application requirements, different types of coolers can be selected in the hydraulic system. Common types include detachable plate coolers, brazed coolers, and shell and tube coolers. These coolers are designed to effectively reduce the oil temperature raised by the hydraulic process, so that the hydraulic oil is always maintained within a certain temperature range, so as not to affect the work efficiency of the machine.

3. Temperature control
Hydraulic oil coolers are usually equipped with a temperature controller that monitors the real-time temperature of the oil in the tank through a temperature sensor. The user can set the control temperature arbitrarily according to the actual work needs. When the oil temperature exceeds the set value, the temperature controller will automatically start the cooling unit to cool down, ensuring that the oil temperature is always controlled within the normal working range.5

Hydraulic oil cooler is widely used in all kinds of CNC machine tools, forging equipment, hydraulic equipment and other CNC general machine tools. It can not only prevent the thermal deformation of the machine tool and spindle center offset, but also prevent the oxidation and evaporation of the oil, stabilize the oil pressure, improve the processing accuracy and use efficiency of the machine tool, and extend the service life of the equipment and tools.
